Arthur Jarvis University Maiden Law Journal Goes Places
We announced the publication of a law journal by the Faculty of Law in our last newsletter. The news here is that Dr. Joe Edet, the Institution's Deputy Vice Chancellor, has given some extremely significant figures in the legal profession presentations of the journal. Some of them include: Emeka Obegolu (SAN) and Egada Elachi, who served on the journal's editorial board and contributed to it, Prof. Akper (SAN) of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, and Prof. Musa Abubakar, the secretary of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), whose article titled "Safeguards against Corruption Risks in a Regulatory Environment in Nigeria" was included in this first issue.
Below are photos of some of the presentations already made even as more presentations are ongoing. We are proud of this feat by the Faculty of Law and urge other faculties to take a cue from this.
