Stepping into Service; With Compassion, Courage & Commitment

Arthur Jarvis University proudly marked a significant milestone with its 3rd Nursing Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony, held on Tuesday, 18th November 2025, at the AJU Postgraduate School Hall, Akpabuyo, Cross River State.

The event, organised by the Department of Nursing Science in conjunction with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), officially welcomed a new cohort of nursing professionals into the noble and life-saving profession of nursing.

The ceremony was rich with meaning, reflection, and emotion as inductees took their professional oath, pledging dedication to compassionate care, ethical practice, and unwavering service to humanity. Faculty members, dignitaries, family, friends, and fellow students gathered to celebrate the inductees’ hard-earned achievements and to usher them into a future of healthcare excellence.

The induction highlights not only academic accomplishment but also the university’s commitment to raising health practitioners grounded in knowledge, skill, empathy, and professionalism. These new nurses stand ready to serve communities, hospitals, and health centres across Nigeria and beyond — carrying forward the reputation of Arthur Jarvis University as a beacon of quality and integrity in medical education.

Congratulations to all newly inducted nurses — the world needs your strength, compassion, and courage.
